Who I want to be as a teacher

In my family, there are several educators. In one way or another they all inspired me to become a teacher. As a teacher, I want to be a role model for my students.I feel that a teacher is like a parent away from home. I want my students to feel free to talk to me about anything that is appropriate, whether it is related to school or not. My classroom will be one that is warm an inviting to all that enter. I will aim to learn from my students in the process of them learning from me. Students will know that I will help them in anyway possible, as long they try to help themselves and work hard. In conclusion, I will strive to be the best teacher that I can.
